“Stop blindly grinding leetcode. Start grindly blinding blind75”

At long last, I am releasing my CORGIS into the wild — this is a webpage based on Yangshun Tay’s Blind75, but with YouTube resources and topic lists for every question. The webpage is simply hosted on GitHub Pages.

Who Is This For?

This is for software engineer candidates who have to solve LeetCode-style questions in their interview process — for better or worse, that means most of them. If you want to avoid this, here is someone else’s GitHub list of companies that do not use whiteboard-style interviews. I also recently wrote on HackerNoon about a self-taught software engineer who was able to skip this entirely.

Why Blind75?

There are more than 2000 questions on LeetCode. Instead of trying to solve all of them, many candidates find it more helpful to solve curated lists so that they can begin to recognize patterns.

Blind75 is not the ONLY list available, it is just one of the most famous. Here are questions organized by 14 patterns, for example, featuring the 14 famous coding patterns and appending dynamic programming and backtracking.

But Yangshun Tay’s list covers a number of important topics, including trees, linked lists, and dynamic programming.

Why Not Use Grind75 Instead?

You can still use Grind75 — in fact, I encourage it. InterviewHandbook is more original and comprehensive than CORGIS will ever be. This page was supposed to look a bit like Grind75.

What CORGIS provides is simplicity. It’s just Blind75 with YouTube links, topics lists, and occasionally a blog post. The idea is that you can just stick with LeetCode and CORGIS, without being prompted to sign up for a course, claim a discount, or reach for your wallet. There are no advertisements or affiliate links.

Visit CORGIS

Click here to visit CORGIS right now. If you like it, please give it a star. If you do not like it and have CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, please file an issue. I would much prefer this to simply roasting me in the comments section, but it wouldn’t be the first time.

Why I Believe In This

The tech industry is going through something of a crisis. In a time when even large companies are rescinding offers and laying off employees, some advertisers are still flooding LinkedIn with promises of lucrative salaries and easy money…provided you shell out a few thousand dollars.

In these times, well-intentioned people like Tay, NeetCode, and the community of FreeCodeCamp continue to provide help and support.

…or I just really wanted to spell the word CORGIS. One of those two.

Closing Thoughts

Thank you for your comment, Amy. I will not make the same mistake twice.
